To set up your scoring factor, start by logging into your account. This will let you set your most recent scoring factor, or you can go back to a past date and set it to a scoring factor you have once used.
- Click Scoring Factor from your dashboard.
- Click Activate.
- Click Start.
- Click New Score to select the date you played.
- Use the Course Played search bar to find the course where you played your round.
- Select the number of holes played, the tee box where you played from, and enter your score at the bottom.
- Click Save.
Please note the Chronogolf Scoring Factor is based on an average of your best 10 out of your last 20 scores, multiplied by the golf course’s difficulty factor. The difficulty factor is entered by the golf courses. Nine-hole rounds are included only if another nine-hole round can be matched in a front/back pair.
For an official handicap, we recommend using Golf Canada or USGA’s scoring center, as Chronogolf's Scoring Factor is not a mirror of the proprietary and patented USGA or Golf Canada’s handicap formula.
