If you need an official handicap, we recommend using Golf Canada or the USGA’s scoring center. Chronogolf's scoring factor is not a mirror of the proprietary formulas used by these associations.
Chronogolf’s scoring factor is calculated using the average of your best 10 out of your last 20 scores, multiplied by the course’s difficulty factor. Nine-hole rounds are included only when matched with another nine-hole round to form a full 18.
You can set your scoring factor from your Chronogolf account dashboard. This lets you apply your most recent scoring factor or choose one from a past date.
- Log in to your Chronogolf account.
- Click Scoring Factor from your dashboard.
- Click Activate.
- Click Start.
- Click New score and select the date you played.
- Use the Course played search bar to find the course.
- Select the number of holes played, the tee box, and enter your score at the bottom.
- Click Save.
